Dr. Inagaki received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego. He then earned his DDS degree at the University of California, San Francisco where he first discovered his passion for endodontics. Dr. Inagaki subsequently completed an Advanced
Education in General Dentistry residency program in Pittsburg, California, a General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York, and finally his Post-Graduate Endodontics program at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn. He was the recipient of several honors during his training, including Resident of the Year during his GPR and Chief Resident during his Endodontic program. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, and the Second District Dental Society.
Dr. Maxim Podolsky strives for excellence and provides ultimate attention to detail in all of the services he provides his patients. He received his B.A., and M.S. from Adelphi University. He then attended the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of only Three Ivy League Dental Schools in the country. There he received his D.M.D. and Specialty Certificate in Periodontics, where he served as Chief Resident for three years.
Dr. Podolsky provides comprehensive and innovative solutions to each of his patient’s particular oral health concerns and needs. He has a great ability to customize individual treatment plans to meet each patients’ desires, resources, and time availability. He has a calming manner and is known for his gentle touch. Dr. Podolsky is a talented surgeon whose patients and dentists appreciate the aesthetic and functional results he consistently delivers.
Dr. Podolsky’s training covers all aspects of periodontics and implant surgery, including soft tissue surgery and the Pinhole Surgical Technique (one of only 3,000 dentists in the world trained to perform this technique), hard tissue reconstruction, bone grafting, and gingival (gum) grafting.
In addition to being an experienced practitioner, Dr. Podolsky has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry for the past 10 years.
Dr. Maxim Podolsky is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology, a distinguished accomplishment. He has lectured at numerous dental study clubs on various cutting edge implant and bone grafting techniques.
Dr. Abrahamian received his dental education at the University of Maryland-School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. Having lived in Maryland his whole life, he made the choice to venture out to New York to continue his professional training. He completed his first year of postgraduate residency training at NYU Langone Medical Center in Brooklyn, a level one trauma center. It was during this time that he received additional training in all aspects of dentistry. After being honored as “Resident of the Year”, he was selected to stay a second year as Chief Resident, with a focus on more advanced procedures including, full mouth rehabilitation, esthetics, surgical extractions, implant placement, root canal therapy, and much more.
Dr. Abrahamian prides himself on always having open and honest conversations with his patients, helping provide the most comprehensive treatment. His goal is to make each and every appointment as enjoyable as possible. In his spare time, Dr. Abrahamian enjoys spending time with his family and friends, outdoor activities, cooking, and searching the city for the best places to eat.
Dr. Peña practices dentistry with compassion and works to connect with patients to reach their treatment goals. Dr. Peña knew she wanted to be a dentist from a young age and in high school applied to New York University College of Arts and Sciences’ combined 7-year BA/DDS program. After completing 3 years of undergraduate studies and graduating with honors, Dr. Peña was accepted into NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Peña is the recipient of Dental Dean’s Scholarship and the Hispanic Scholarship awarded to her during dental school. During her time in dental school Dr. Peña participated in multiple outreach events promoting oral healthcare for children. She was the president of the Oral Cancer Walk Committee and of Saturday Academy, a program geared toward helping high school minorities with college applications.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Peña was accepted into NYU Langone- Brooklyn general practice residency. Dr. Peña was asked to remain as Chief Resident for the following year and was able to complete more complex cases in all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic, endodontic, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Dr. Peña’s primary goal in treating patients is to provide comfort and offer the best care and treatment possible. When Dr. Peña isn’t working, she enjoys traveling to the Dominican Republic to visit family, discovering new foods, and reading.
Dr. Schuback grew up in Westchester County, New York. She then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in Psychology. She was accepted into the Early Assurance Program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While in dental school, she was awarded the Deans Research Honors Scholarship and was accepted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Dr. Schuback then completed her General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Manhattan Campus. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Society.
Dr. Schuback strives to provide quality and comprehensive care to her patients in the most caring and comforting way. Her interests include cosmetic and restorative dentistry, although she enjoys all aspects of dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Patrick Ng-a-fook is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Business minor and a concentration in Biology. He graduated dental school from the Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry. After dental school, he continued his dental training in a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Callen Lorde Community Health Center, through Lutheran Medical Center. He was then offered an attending position, where he helped train dental residents. A year later he pursued his education in Endodontics and graduated with a Certificate in Endodontics from Lutheran Medical Center, focusing on surgical and non-surgical Endodontics.
During his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
I received my Bachelors Degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University. I obtained my DDS degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, and completed General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado Hospital.
I am passionate about my profession as it combines two of my interests: art and science. I believe in comprehensive care, patient education and preventative dental treatment.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my family, as well as travel, skiing and sailing
Dr. Lisa Van Eyndhoven received her DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her pediatric dental residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is currently an Attending at St.Barnabas Hospital’s Pediatric Dental residency program.
“Dr. Lisa” was born and primarily raised in New York City, but traveled the world at a young age with her diplomatic parents. She speaks four languages and has spent time in Belgium, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Ethiopia, Gabon, and Thailand.
Along with traveling, “Dr. Lisa” loves silly jokes and songs. She is patient and takes the time to make children and parents feel at ease in the dental environment.
Clara Tzau was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science. During her years of undergraduate studies, she spent time volunteering at one of Canada’s most prestigious children’s hospital in Toronto, Sick Kids Hospital.
To date, it is her most rewarding and memorable volunteer experience yet, sparking her true passion in providing care for children. Clara also has experience in teaching children piano and has applied these skills towards her pediatric dental career. Clara received her D.D.S. degree from New York University where she continued her outreach experiences at First Start and Ronald McDonald Charity House.
She completed both her general practice residency and specialty pediatric dentistry training at NYU Langone Hospital (previously, NYU Lutheran Medical Center) in Brooklyn, New York. She is now a board-certified pediatric dentist, having completed the requirements not only with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry but also the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (Canadian pediatric dental boards). Dr. Tzau loves her job and it shows; the feedback from parents of her patients often describe her with 4 words: kind, fast, efficient, and caring.
Dr. Hou received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Rice University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School. He completed two general practice residencies, one at the Houston Veteran’s Hospital and another at the Detroit Receiving Hospital. Dr. Hou received his Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan Dental School.
Dr. Hou has practiced in the tri-state area for the last twenty years. He was an Associate Clinical Director of Orthodontics at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has had a private practice for the past 15 years. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association.
Dr. Hou lives in Long Island and enjoys attending musical and theatrical events in New York City on his free time.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Marika Chikvashvili graduated Cum Laude from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in pursuit of becoming an Orthodontist. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at The Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. While studying dentistry, she also had a desire to give back to those in need, and participated in multiple outreach missions to deliver dental care to underserved communities. One such outreach involved spending two weeks at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, working with the Oglala Sioux tribe.
Unwavering in her interest in Orthodontics, she furthered her education by completing a three-year Specialty Residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. During that time she was the recipient of the Leo Sreebny award for the best post-graduate research work on “The Deviated Nasal Septum and its Effect on the Development of the Jaws”.
Dr. Marika has practiced orthodontics in communities around New York City and Long Island. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients and is always furthering her knowledge of new state of the art technologies and orthodontic treatment modalities. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics.
