Dr. Stephen
Kwon
Dr. Stephen Kwon is a board-certified endodontist (Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics) dedicated to preserving natural teeth and helping patients find relief from discomfort. Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised on Long Island, Dr. Kwon combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, utilizing advanced technologies including dental microscopy and 3D CBCT imaging to deliver the highest standard of endodontic care. He believes that exceptional care extends beyond technical precision, striving to create a calm, supportive environment where every patient feels comfortable, informed, and truly cared for. His clinical focus includes:
- Root canal therapy and retreatment
- Complex and previously “hopeless” endodontic cases
- Dental microscopy for precision diagnosis and treatment
- 3D imaging (CBCT) for accurate case planning
- Relief from discomfort and preservation of natural teeth
Outside of the office, Dr. Kwon enjoys going for a run, hitting the golf course, or experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen — and he’s a longtime hip hop fan who used to write and record rap for fun. A morning at The Met, discovering a new coffee shop, and then going for a run through Central Park is his idea of a perfect day in NYC.
