Arsheena began her journey to dentisty with a bachelor’s degree from Queens College. Continuing her education, she later attended New York City College of Technology to become a registered dental hygienist, where she is now an adjunct professor for the dental hygiene program. She has been awarded for her exemplary professionalism by The Second District Dental Society of New York, and is an active member of the American Dental Hygienist’s Association. Arsheena’s attention to detail, and passion for overall healthcare, is reflected in her treatment of patients, helping them to feel comfortable while providing the utmost care



Silvana was born and raised in Albania, and at the age of 20, moved to the United States in hopes of achieving the “American Dream”: work hard, don’t give up, and create your own version of success. She graduated from NYU College of Dental Hygiene School in 2009, and truly loves her work in dentistry. Silvana strives to connect with every patient she treats, helping them to feel comfortable and happy, especially those with negative memories from previous dentistry experiences. Outside of Soul Dental, she and her husband enjoy going on family adventures with their two daughters

Soul Dental Alexandra



Alexandra moved from New Jersey to NYC in 2008 to pursue a career as a dental hygienist. Her training at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College, provided her the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients. Those with a history of dental phobia, made the greatest impact on her choice, to first and foremost, care for patients with compassion, both emotionally and clinically. Beyond the Soul Dental community, she enjoys spending time and cooking with friends and family, Cross Fit, and taking dance classes



Evelina began working at Soul Dental as a dental assistant. With Drs. Alterman and Yungelson’s encouragement, support and inspiration, Evalina continued her education and became a dental hygienist. Her attention to detail and desire to deliver the best care to her patients, motivates her to stay current with the latest research and innovations in preventative oral health care. Evalina always greets her patients with a smile and positive attitude, believing that making one person smile, can change the world. Maybe not the whole world, but their world
